By car:

☛ A5 Frankfurt-Basel motorway: Exit Freiburg via the B31 to Titisee. Continue via Bärental, Schluchsee, Seebrugg, Rothaus to Ühlingen-BIRKENDORF.

☛ A 81 Stuttgart-Singen motorway: Exit Donaueschingen, B27 to exit Hausen, Bonndorf, continue via Rothaus to Ühlingen-BIRKENDORF.

☛ Via Switzerland A3 motorway Basel - Baden: Exit in the direction of Transit 5 or 7 - border crossing Koblenz-Waldshut, more Via the B34 towards Bad Säckingen - take the B500 slip road towards Häusern, then at the roundabout towards Schluchsee, Grafenhausen. Rothaus, Ühlingen -BIRKENDORF or more via the B34 towards Tiengen - Schaffhausen, exit Grafenhausen, continue towards Rothaus, Ühlingen-BIRKENDORF

Due to a rockfall between Witznauer Säge and Riedersteg, the Schlüchttal must currently remain closed for an indefinite period of time. Local diversion is signposted - about 10 minutes longer journey!
